As I've recently arrived at my new summer locale, on the French Riviera, I figured it was time for El.K.B. to let the sun shine in on the blog with a new summer look!
I'm no fashion expert but I personally believe the French truely know how to pull off the classic sophistication of long lasting style. Many garments range in "colour" from light grey to medium to black and, more often than not, are paired with little more than an elegant string of pearls (thank you Coco Chanel!), maybe a silk scarf and you're all set to go!
This, however, differs drastically from the colours and textures of the historical buildings. Colourful splashes ring out down the tiny alleyways of the French villages with equally vibrant chipping shutters on each of the windows. I fell instantly in love with the colours of historical French architecture. I had to share this vibrancy with you on my new summer blog design since the majority of the summer (now until early August) will be spent wandering France.
